NCTM’s Principles to Actions (2014) provides a research-based framework consisting of eight high-leverage mathematics teaching practices necessary to promote in-depth learning of mathematics concepts. The mathematics professional development resources below target a number of these practices. Each session includes opportunities for participants to deepen their understanding of the focal teaching practice using data from the NSSME+ study as fodder for these conversations. Participants have opportunities to reflect on their own practice and consider next steps for instructional improvement.
