Have students again draw what they would see in and around a glass of water before and after ice is added using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horizon-research.com\/ASSET\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/condensation-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this task sheet<\/a>. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.horizon-research.com\/ASSET\/administration-instructions-for-student-task-time-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Task instructions for pilot teachers.<\/a>]\n<h3>Questions to Ask Students<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Describe your drawings. What does each part represent?<\/li>\n<li>How is your new drawing different from your first one? What have you learned that affected your new drawing?<\/li>\n<li>How does your drawing explain why there was liquid on the outside of the glass of ice water?<\/li>\n<li>How does your drawing compare to the computer simulation we watched?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Student Thinking<\/h3>\n<p>Students\u2019 drawings should show evidence of particle thinking by including water particles.
