Authors: Pasley, Joan D.

The primary goal of the Local Systemic Change through Teacher Enhancement (LSC) program is to improve the teaching of science, mathematics, and technology by focusing on the professional development of teachers within whole schools or school districts. This paper investigates the link between the quality of LSC professional development around instructional materials, such as IMP, Investigations, FOSS, and STC, and classroom practices through the presentation of case studies written by ten Principal Investigators (PIs) of LSC projects.
