Mathematics Specialist in K-5 Schools: Research and Policy Pilot Study

The Mathematics Specialist in K-5 Schools: Research and Policy Pilot Study project is supported by the Teacher Professional Continuum of the National Science Foundation and operated by Virginia Commonwealth University. The overall goal of the project is to determine the effectiveness of a school-based Mathematics Specialists program. The project is developing and testing a pilot program to prepare, deploy, and support a total of 24 Mathematics Specialists in Virginia. HRI serves as the external evaluator for the project.
