A panel of three content experts (i.e., individuals with a Ph.D. in the relevant content area) reviewed the assessment items to ensure content accuracy. These reviews took place at three points: 1) after the initial drafts of the items were written, 2) after items had gone through iterative revisions based on cognitive interviews, and 3) after the items had been piloted and field tested.
An expert panel also reviewed the final assessments and judged them to be adequate measures of the content domain.
